Are you a second-year Computer Science student? Join our Penetration Testing team at Novacoast! As an Intern, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing tools that support our cybersecurity operations. You’ll have the chance to shadow live penetration tests, contribute to cutting-edge cybersecurity tooling, and develop Python-based tools that make a real impact for the team.

19.1 Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Penetration Testing team to identify tooling requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Assist in real-world penetration tests.
- Enhance existing tooling for efficiency and scalability.
- Evaluate and integrate open-source tooling.
- Test, debug, and deploy new scripts and tools to streamline penetration testing processes.
- Contribute to documentation for internal tools and processes.
19.2 Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience with Git or version control systems.
- Familiarity with software development best practices.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (or a willingness to learn).
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques is a plus.
